I have no words to express what Paco meant to me. Although his name was "In Honor of Aquiline", it was MY Honor, to have him in my life! He was My Little Man, and the bravest and sweetest big boy I ever had the pleasure to share my life with! I remember seeing a picture of him in the whelping box and falling in love with him right away! When I picked him up, I was as proud as a peacock to have him coming home with me! He watched out for me from the start. We could just look at each other and know what needed to be done. Just a little over a month before his death he passed his Canine Good Citizen test and not once did he show any pain or discomfort and we could all see only pride and joy in his eyes!
He and Jo were inseparable and her death hit him hard making it impossible for him to fight against the Osteosarcoma that eventually took him way too soon! I am sure Paco and Jo are now together forever, as they were on this Earth, playing, running and free of pain!
Life will never be the same here! Paco was more than a dog. He was my companion, my defender and protector that one in a life time being, irreplaceable in more ways than one! Be happy my Little Man! Until we meet again, please know that you will forever be in my heart and my thoughts! |
